Dear Friends of the Defiance County Fair

Looking at yesterday, seeing today and envisioning tomorrow is the mission of the Defiance County Fair Foundation. As the Executive Director of this newly created foundation. I have committed my time and energy to Defiance county residents in fulfilling this mission.

The Defiance County Fair Foundation was created in March of 2007 as a community wide not-for-profit organization. The Foundation will provide support to the Defiance County Agricultural Society by raising, receiving and investing funds that will benefit the Defiance County Fair.

With that in mind, the Board of Trustees has chosen the grandstand as its first project and plans are underway for the construction of a new facility. We are currently meeting with architects and visiting other county fairs to determine what will best fit the needs of our community.

We live in a time when the number of worthy causes seeking contributions grows with every passing day. Very few, if any of us, can afford to give too many of these worthy causes. It is my hope for the residents of Defiance County to come together in support of the Fair Foundation by envisioning what tomorrow can be for so many who benefit from the Defiance County Fair.
